Very happy with Darby Painting. Have worked with them for 6 years now on various projects. Our contractor used Darby Painting for our house remodel and they did an excellent job. 5 years later we needed some painting done on another project and again and excellent job. They are careful to ensure furniture and flooring in the house is covered, they ensure the floors don't get damaged from the ladders or scaffolding, etc. The painting of the back side of the house was a challenge and they actually steered us away from one type of paint color to another because Ted understood the effect we were trying to achieve and what we were planning he saw would not work, and he recommended a different color and type of paint which worked out very well and gave us the effect we wanted. It was nice to have someone help you avoid a pitfall. Now we plan to use them again on another project. Very easy to work with, professional, reliable and we can count on it being done right the first time.

Tedd Darby and his team are the best in the business. Their prep work, attention to detail, and professionalism is second to none. They use high quality products blended with high quality workmanship. I've already recommended them to family and friends. My in-laws had Tedd Darby Painting repaint their house. Needless to say, it turned out amazing.

Bottom line, Darby Painting is the only company I'll use for future painting projects.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!! The painters were very professional and clean!!! Did a wonderful job patching cracks and then painting our living room, hallway and ceilings in bedrooms. Was so happy to finally find painters who know what they are doing. Thanks so much. They are reasonable in price.

When they showed up to do the work they reviewed what was being done and any special details. The whole crew takes care to see that prep work is done properly. Tedd is careful to recommend the right paint for the job, and his crew takes pride in doing a great job. Once they were done, they replaced all fixtures, painted any trim that was in need of paint, and cleaned up thoroughly. Third time I have used Darby's over the 30 years I have lived here, and every experience is the same--Great !!

I have lived in San Diego over 30 years. I want to say Darby Painting is the best paint contractor I have ever worked with. He listened to what I needed and then told me what he would do for me and how much it would cost. He painted my project and when he found out I had a small remodel in the same area, he volunteered to come and touch up after it was done. His men were totally professional and very pleasant. Their work was superb and my wife and I were very pleased. We have hired several paint contractors over the years, but Darby was the first to be prompt, bring plenty of painters to complete the job on schedule. They were fantastic!
